Commissioning a Mosaic
Thank you for your interest in commissioning a mosaic. The beauty of a mosaic is primarily due to the
handcrafted quality and the use of the beautiful materials. Therefore, great care is given to selecting the
finest quality tile for each piece.
Mosaics are very labor intensive. Most mosaic prices average $150.00 to $225.00 per square foot.
Commissioned mosaics are priced based on a number of factors.
Pricing Considerations

- intricacy of the work
- installation factor
- possible site visits

Terms of Sale:
- First proposal: Design and materials. We will discuss materials cost, if any installation cost
apply, shipping, and finally the total cost of the mosaic.
- After a client’s written approval and authorization for commencement of work on the agreed
proposal and design of the mosaic, per these terms and conditions, the client will pay a
non-refundable deposit equivalent to 50% of the projected project piece , which is sub-tracked
from the total final payment upon completion of mosaic. If for some unforeseen reason client
terminates the project, the deposit will not be refunded.
- Once deposit is received, materials will be ordered design of the mosaic will begin.
- Final payment: The remaining balance due shall be payable immediately upon completion of
the mosaic. Once payment is received the mosaic will be shipped to it owner.
